| Tony de Gouveia is an experienced Psychologist and Personal/Executive Coach who has concentrated on the development of personal and interpersonal skills (life skills) in his career up to the present time. Between 2002 and 2008 Tony was a member of Milpark at the Milpark Business School (MBA Programme). Prior to that, he lectured in General and Industrial Psychology at Vista University (Soweto Campus), subsequent to qualifying as a Psychologist in 1984. He has also been practising as a professional coach/counsellor to various individuals (personal/business), families, groups and organisations since then. He has served as a mentor/coach to the Business Women's Association (BWA) and an Executive Stress Management Coach for the Careways (Employee Wellness) group. He also participated as a coach/mentor in the Milpark Business School Women in Leadership course (2004). Tony is involved with General Management Consulting as well as specific (focused) HR training within various training media i.e. class room, distance learning and satellite TVmodalities. He has lectured on most topics within the HR arena, including Self Management and Leadership competencies and Customer Service. His clients include companies such as: Airchefs(Transnet), Barlows(Equipment), De Beers, Edufin, Grindrod, Group 5, IBM ,The IPM, In terms of target groupings, he has a special interest in facilitating and coaching fast-track graduate employment equity groups. Tony has also been involved in facilitating change management initiatives, which utilise industrial theatre as a medium for Company/Organisational transformation (for Raintree Productions).
